Pleasantville Farms is a business which is incorporated under the Companies Act of Jamaica in August 2019 and is  located at Mount Pleasant, Ferris District, Westmoreland.

The family-owned property spans across acres of fertile hillside and has been used over the last thirty years for the farming of crops such as corn, peas, pimento, mangoes, pumpkin, scotch bonnet peppers, and also poultry and eggs.

 

The farm has an assortment of other vegetation and trees such as a variety of herbs and spices, ferns, palms, coconut, plants and fruit trees. Logwood, sweet wood, cedar, and mahogany trees are also found on the property.

 

At this time the business will focus primarily on pumpkins and hot peppers as these are in high market demand and undersupplied at this time. The business will graduate to undertake the production of natural and holistic products in the future.
